Action library · Both kinds
Fitness & Health
Training movements, where the clean outline of a body matters more than the equipment around it.
Yoga flows, lifts, a reformer pull, a board trick. These sit next to the sports shelf and are not the same thing: sports actions are about a moment of effort, and these are about a repetition. A flow or a rep is a movement the body returns from, which is a friendlier request than a movement that ends somewhere new, and it is why several of these hold together well from an ordinary standing photograph.
People documenting a routine, coaches building something to post, and anyone who took a mirror photograph at the gym and wants it to do more than sit still.
This shelf holds two different things
Motion actions
These move
A photograph goes in and a clip of about 5 seconds comes out. The movement is generated from the one frame you supply, so nothing here is filmed and nothing is recovered.
Photo styles
These restyle
A photograph goes in and a new still picture comes out. The frame is rebuilt in the style rather than having an effect laid over it, and nothing on this side of the shelf moves.

What is invented on this shelf
The path of the limbs, and any equipment the photograph did not fully contain. A barbell cut off at the frame edge comes back at a length the model chose. Floor markings and matting get rebuilt underneath a moving body, and busy studio flooring is one of the more common sources of a result that looks subtly wrong without a reader being able to name why.
The app's own invention flag, across this shelf
- ModerateReal movement, still anchored to the frameWeightliftingSkateboarding
- LargeThe model builds most of what you seeYoga
The rest of this shelf carries no invention flag in the app's catalogue, so nothing here places it on the ramp: Reformer Flow, Heavy Bag Cross, Sled Push, Sunrise Mobility Reach, HIIT Burst, Resistance Band Row, Overhead Lockout Freeze. The flag is set on a preset by the app rather than by this site, and a guess dressed as a rating would be worth less than the gap.
Least invented first. A small rung stays close to the photograph you already have; a large one means the model is building most of what ends up on screen, which is also where a likeness has the most room to drift.
The photograph this shelf wants
Full body, standing, with clear space around the limbs. Gym mirrors, equipment crossing the body and busy floor markings all confuse the outline the model has to move. Fitted athletic clothing actually helps here, because the body edge is obvious.
The four things that decide any result are the same here as everywhere else in the library, and they are set out in what makes a photo work. The limits that apply to every action on this site are in what none of these can do.
Where Fitness & Health results vary most
Mirrors and clutter. A gym is the worst room in the world for this: a reflection of a body has to move in agreement with the body, and racks, cables and other people all cross the outline the model is trying to separate from the background. Fitted athletic clothing genuinely helps here, because the edge of the body is unambiguous. Shoot against a plain wall if you have the option.
Where to go next
- How much of the body your photo actually needsHead and shoulders, waist up, or head to feet: the crop decision that matters more than almost anything else you choose. A short table by movement type, and the headroom mistake almost everyone makes once.
- Why your animated photo looks wrong, and which part to blameA clip comes back and something is off, but it is hard to say what. Four causes, in order of how often they are the real one, each with a symptom you can recognise in your own result.
This is one shelf of many. The whole catalogue, grouped the way the app groups it, is in the action library.
Common questions
- What is the Fitness & Health shelf for?
- Yoga flows, lifts, a reformer pull, a board trick.
- Does everything on the Fitness & Health shelf move?
- No, and that is the first thing to check before picking one. This shelf holds both kinds: some of these are motion actions that hand back a short clip, and the rest are photo styles that hand back a new still picture. Both halves are named and linked separately on this page, and every card is labelled.
- What kind of photo works best for Fitness & Health?
- Full body, standing, with clear space around the limbs. Gym mirrors, equipment crossing the body and busy floor markings all confuse the outline the model has to move. Fitted athletic clothing actually helps here, because the body edge is obvious.
- Do I need a subscription for the Fitness & Health actions?
- Nothing on this shelf is marked as a subscription only action in the app's catalogue. Free to download on iPhone and iPad. Credits and subscriptions are bought inside the app.
The right action for the photograph beats the popular one
Every action on the Fitness & Health shelf is written up the same way, so you can check whether the picture in your camera roll actually suits it before you spend a credit on finding out.
