This site is written pages and pictures. There is nothing here to upload a photograph to, no account to create, and no login. That removes most of what a privacy policy usually has to explain.

What this website collects

Every page on this site loads Google Analytics 4, measurement id G-F0HLQZ0LJ9. It records which page was viewed, roughly which country the request came from, whether the device was a phone or a desktop, and which site sent you here. It sets its own cookies on this domain and the data goes to Google. We read it in aggregate to see which pages are worth writing more of. We do not sell it, we do not build advertising audiences from it, and there is no account here to attach it to.

If you would rather not be counted, Google publishes a browser add on that turns it off everywhere: the Google Analytics opt out. Google's own account of what it does with the data is in the Google privacy policy.

If you subscribe by email we store that address to send you what you asked for, and nothing else. One click unsubscribes you and deletes it.

Advertising

This site is applying to Google AdSense, so it loads the AdSense script in the page head. No ad is served yet and no ad unit is rendered on any page, but the script is there, it comes from Google, and it is capable of setting cookies. Saying that plainly is more useful than a policy that claims no advertising code exists while the code is in the page.

When ads do start serving, Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to select and measure them, including personalised advertising where you have allowed it. What Google does with that, and the controls you have over it, are set out in how Google uses cookies in advertising, and personalised ads can be turned off at Google My Ad Center. This page will be updated on the day the first ad unit goes live rather than after it.

Cookies

The cookies on this site are the ones Google Analytics sets, and the ones the AdSense script may set. We set none of our own: there is no account, no login, no cart and no preference to remember. Blocking third party cookies in your browser costs you nothing here, because none of the writing on this site is behind one.

The app is a different thing

AI Video cannot animate or restyle a photograph on the device alone. To generate either a clip or a new still picture, the photograph you choose is sent to the generation service that produces it. The app asks for your agreement before the first generation and states there that the image is used to make the result you asked for and not for any other purpose.

The app also collects more than this website does. Its App Store listing declares analytics and advertising related collection, including identifiers, and that is the disclosure to read, because it is the one Apple holds us to. The full policy covering the app lives at momentumlab.ai/privacy and is linked from inside the app itself. Anything you do in the app is governed by that policy, not by this page.

We are pointing this out rather than letting a reader assume the website's answer covers both. It does not.
