What photo works best

Four frames come from one photograph, so the face has to carry repetition. Shoot a tight head and shoulders portrait, front on, eyes clearly visible, head centred. Flat, bright light matches a booth better than anything moody. An expression with some life in it gives the strip variety to work from. What limits this one is a full length or wide photograph, since each of the four frames then holds a small figure rather than a face.

What to expect

One photograph goes in and a new still picture comes out, restyled rather than filtered: the model rebuilds the frame in the style instead of laying an effect over it. Run it twice if the first attempt gets a detail wrong, because the second version will not be identical.
